Event Description:
The Drake Relays and the Young Professionals Connection presents the Fake Relays
When? Wednesday, April 21st, the games take place from noon-1:00 p.m. Participating teams need to check-in at 11:30 a.m., volunteers need to check-in at 11:00 a.m.
What? A relay race featuring "spoof" track and field events where you can compete against other corporate and organization teams. None of the events require athletic prowess, just a willingness to have fun and show your support for the Drake Relays!
Who? 20 four-person teams who are seeking the admiration of Des Moines' business community. We encourage you to wear company shirts and your CEO to be one of your teammates.
Why? Supporting community involvement during the Drake Relays, gaining visibility for your organization and having fun... of course! This event is free with no cost to participate, and no cost to spectate. All four participants of the winning team will win two all session passes to the Drake Relays.
